US President Donald Trump believes that if a better version of the Paris Climate Convention can be elaborated then it can back up Washington.
The US President spoke on this press conference following the talks with the Norwegian Prime Minister Erna Solberg at the White House.
Trump said he had no problems with the climate agreement, but the Paris agreement was a “bad deal”. This convention “treated the United States very unfairly,” he said, confirming that Washington could be “put on a return”.
Donald Trump also pointed out at the press conference that during the American-Norwegian talks he urged Erna Solberg to make Oslo comply with the commitments made in the NATO Treaty and raise his defense spending to at least 2 percent.
