The Las Vegas shooter, Stephen Paddock, shot the security guard of the hotel a few minutes before the massacre – he shared a previously publicized information on Joe Lombardo’s Sheriff’s Monday press conference.
The sheriff said: “Jesus Campost, the security guard of Mandalay Bay, was alarmed by the 32nd floor. The guard came upstairs on October 1 at 9:00 on the evening of Sunday, and Stephen Paddock shot him at his feet. The offender then fired from the hotel window for 10 to 11 minutes at the guest house of the country festival near the hotel.
Joe Lombardo’s sheriff did not give any details. Last week, the police said Paddock had been shot in the air when Jesus Campos came upstairs and Paddock drove a bullet through the door.
The Las Vegas police, however, are still in the dark about what their indictments were for Paddock. He was able to find out that he was a gambler, played in big sums and because he was a regular at the hotel, he got the room for free.
On Monday, the police overheard Paddock’s younger brother and his family members, but Lombardo’s sheriff has only given the journalists’ express questions, and it is clear that he was alone.
