Washington – US President Donald Trump was trying to shake the European Union with an unexpected bid.
According to the Guardian, Trump promised the Franks good commercial terms when they left the union. A favorable agreement with France was floated by Trump in a private conversation at the White House at the end of April.
According to the Washington Post, the president asked Macan why “they would not leave the European Union?” And then offered the possibility of a contract. The news was not confirmed by either the White House or the Élysée Palace.
