In the United States, the Pentagon plans to celebrate the military with a military parade.
The White House spokesman, Sarah Huckabee Sanders, confirmed in a press release of The Washington Post that President Donald Trump invited the Pentagon to investigate the possibility of a regular military arena for the country to honor the soldiers.
“President Trump is incredibly supportive of America’s great soldiers who risk their lives every day for our country’s security. He urged the defense ministry to investigate how a ceremony could be held in which all Americans could express their appreciation to soldiers,” the spokesman said.
On Tuesday, The Washington Post wrote that at a miniscule meeting of chairmen and senior top executives, Donald Trump expressed his desire to celebrate a milestone in the United States on a Bastille Day in France. “It sounded like a presidential statement suddenly,” a newspaper quoted an anonymous administrator as saying.
Last year, Donald Trumpot invited France’s Emmanuel Macron, the Parisian military parade on 14 July. The American president was impressed by the Parisian parade, and in September he indicated that he would like to see a similar celebration in the United States.
