All Beatrice’s favorites, including Anna Pásztor, Miklós Varga and Mihály Mező, will perform on the band’s live concert concert on 7 April at the Papp László Budapest Sportarena – Feró Nagy, Beatrice’s frontman, said on Friday’s M1 channel.
The concert for the 40th anniversary of the orchestra’s existence will be composed of four major parts. They start with old but well-known songs, after which the guest speakers will enter after the early Bikini songs, and then concerts with the biggest Beatrice hits – the singer added.
“It’s a wonderful time when three generations are lurking in front of the stage,” the singer said, who is already looking forward to the concert.
Beatrice was founded in 1969 under the leadership of Mónika Csuka, and Feró Nagy joined the orchestra in 1971. After the discos, funky period, the rocky, punk, sanzonous music and image of Rice, which is now known as “Rice”, was born in 1978, became Ferro Nagy the “rooster of the nation”.
From that time on, Lajos Miklóska (bass guitar), Attila Gidófalvy (keyboard instruments) and Tibor Donászy (drums, percussion) will perform on the stage on April 7th.
Beatrice has never played in Sportarena, the predecessor of the place, at the Budapest Sports Hall only once, in 1991.
