He conducted the highest level of consultations with Saudi government officials on the case of the Saudi Arabian journalist Jamal Hasogdis, the US President, in Istanbul. Donald Trump told reporters Wednesday in Washington.
The president said he wanted to go to the end of the United States and work closely with Turkey to find out what actually happened.
“We ask everyone to know what happened,” the president said. He added that the situation was considered very serious.
Hasogizhi left Saudi Arabia last year, as he said, because of his retaliation for the Yemeni war and his articles about saudi involvement. The systemic journalist has been writing articles for The Washington Post since then, and his Turkish girlfriend published an open letter on this page on Tuesday, requesting help from President Donald Trump.
The journalist was lost on October 2 when he went to Saudi Arabia’s Istanbul consulate and did not come out of it.
The New York Times on Wednesday wrote that Turkish security experts came to the conclusion that Hasogiz was murdered within two hours of his arrival at the consulate.
