The British business newspaper, the Financial Times, dealt with the national consultation on the Soros plan in Hungary on Tuesday.
According to the author of the article, György Soros proposed in 2016 a confirmation of the European Union’s borders and that Europe should have 300,000 refugees in order to fight illegal immigration.
Soros argued for the establishment of a common European refugee system but reiterated the need to force EU Member States to accept refugee quotas. “The EU can not force the Member States to accept refugees if they do not want refugees to go to where they do not see them,” said György Soros, author of the article.
According to the newspaper, despite the businessman’s opposition to the program of forced relocation of refugees, Hungarian officials are a key element of the Soros Plan for the system of quota allocation of refugees voted by more than 20 European countries.
György Soros, a spokesman for the business newspaper, stated that the campaign of the Hungarian government was based on lies.
“There is no global conspiracy against György Soros organized by Hungary,” the daily quoted the spokesman as saying.
