Oscar Award – Ruben Brandt, the collector of animation entries

Ruben Brandt, a collector, is among the twenty-five works of art called the Best Achievement Animated Film Awards.

The list published on Wednesday by the American Academy of Films includes Hotel Transylvania 3: Horrible Vacation, The Unbelievable Family 2, The Dogs’ Island, Mirai-Girl from the Future, Ralph’s Nest, Gnomeo and Juliet 2, Spiderman, Spiderman – Direction of Poker Potion, and Teen Titans: The Movie.
According to the Academy’s announcement, works in the category of animated films – and those that fulfill the required conditions – can be nominated for other categories including the Oscar for Best Film.
Milorad Krstic is a Serbian-born painter, visual artist and animation artist in Hungary, who is a thriller of the James Bond films. His masterpiece is a therapeutic psychotherapist with art therapy, whose favorite paintings come to his life in the form of a series of visions. His patients are persuaded to get the works of art, because if he owns the original, he does not attack his master. Ruben Brandt and his team kidnapped 13 paintings from the world’s largest museums and private collections, including the Louvre, Tate Gallery, Uffizi, Hermitage and the Museum of Fine Arts.
The film, which received a good international repertoire, was made with the support of the Hungarian National Film Foundation, and Tibor Cári’s music was made by Péter Miskolczi, Roczkov Radmila, Roczkov Hermina and János Kurdy-Fehér.
Ruben Brandt, the world premiere of the collector, was held at the Locarno Film Festival in August, in Hungarian cinemas from November 15th.
The American movie portal The Hollywood Reporter mentions the work of Krstic as one of the most successful animated films for the Oscar. The incredible family, The Dogs’ Island, Ralph draws the net, and the Mirai – Girl from the Future animations.
Oscar nominations will be announced on January 22, 2019, and will be handed over to Los Angeles on February 24.
