Complex and urgent challenge for companies is to connect billing software to the tax authorities, according to the EC senior manager.
Péter Molnár, according to EC’s Friday Communications on Audit and Business Advising, advises executives to begin preparations immediately as they have only two months left to coordinate IT and taxation tasks. The task is to trust an expert who has a ready-made, platform-independent solution – he added.
As of July 1, taxpayers who have issued at least a hundred thousand forints VAT invoices to domestic taxpayers are required to submit invoice information to the National Tax and Customs Office on-line once the European Commission has not objected to the draft regulation. The proposal of the Ministry of National Economy can be accepted unchanged, and the companies that do not fulfill their obligations can count on a fine of HUF 500,000 per bill – says the announcement.
