Preparatory US-North Korea talks have begun in Singapore on Monday and are moving faster than expected – the White House said in a statement.
The statement did not clarify what kind of progress has been made between US President Donald Trump and Kim Jong Un, a senior North Korean leader in Tuesday’s preparatory meeting.
According to the White House, the US president is likely to leave Singapore sooner than planned: Tuesday is negotiating all day, and will return to Washington on Tuesday evening, Tuesday but Tuesday. The one-day summit program includes lunch and a wider negotiation, with the two leaders alongside their co-workers. US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo, John Kelly, Chief of Cabinet of the White House, National Security Adviser John Bolton, and Sung Kim, accredited in the Philippines, have been attending the hearing on the American side, who previously participated in the preparatory talks for the summit.
Also announced by the White House that after the summit, Donald Trump will hold a press conference.
On Monday, Donald Trump talked to present journalists that he was “a good achievement”.
